Job Summary
The Care Navigator plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals through their healthcare journeys. This position involves coordinating care, providing information, and assisting clients in accessing the necessary services to enhance their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on available services.
* Coordinate appointments and follow-ups, ensuring that clients receive timely care.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and service utilisation.
* Utilise office software, including Google Suite and QuickBooks, for data entry and administrative tasks.
* Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while communicating with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
* Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scheduling, and managing correspondence to ensure efficient office operations.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Experience
* Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is essential.
* Familiarity with data entry processes and office management practices is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using computerised systems, particularly Google Suite and QuickBooks, is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for successful client interactions.
* A background in healthcare or social services is a plus but not mandatory.
