Job Title: Hoist Trained SEN Teaching Assistant

The Education Network is recruiting for a committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with Hoist Training to support students with additional needs in a welcoming and inclusive school in Bradford. Role Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support to students with physical disabilities, including safe use of hoists and other mobility equipment.
Supporting teaching and learning in both 1:1 and small group settings.
Assisting with personal care and ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of students.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver individualised support plans.
Encouraging independence, inclusion, and participation in all aspects of school life.Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in a school or care setting.
Hoist training and experience in manual handling.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and caring approach.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow safeguarding procedures.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).The School Offers:
