Marketing Manager – B2B Events Portfolio
We are acting as the recruiting partner for this opportunity.
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience
Working pattern: 4 days office-based, 1 day WFH
Hours: 36.5 per week
We are partnering with a fast-growing, international exhibitions and events organiser to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the strategy across a portfolio of established B2B trade events.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding business delivering exhibitions both in the UK and internationally.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will take ownership of the full marketing lifecycle across your portfolio, from strategy and campaign development through to execution and post-event analysis.
The position requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery within a fast-paced commercial events environment.
Key Objectives
* Generate high-quality sales leads
* Increase both the quantity and quality of exhibition visitors
* Deliver measurable marketing performance through data-driven decision making
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Campaign Delivery
* Develop and implement integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
* Build partnerships to reach key target audiences
Messaging & Communications
* Develop compelling value propositions for exhibitors and visitors
* Ensure consistent, high-impact messaging across all channels
* Refine positioning based on data and performance insights
Data & Performance
* Establish KPIs and track campaign effectiveness
* Analyse results and optimise future activity
* Manage and report on marketing budgets
Collaboration
* Work closely with exhibition managers and internal stakeholders
* Partner with social media and partnerships teams
* Manage agencies and external suppliers
What We're Looking For
* 3-5 years' experience in B2B marketing
* Strong campaign planning and strategy background
* Data-driven and KPI-focused
* Experience within trade exhibitions / events
* Comfortable working with modern marketing tools and AI technologies
* Willingness to travel internationally 2 - 3 times per year
