Driver’s Mate
Location: Hatfield
Pay: £14.01 per hour, rising to £21.02 overtime after 48 hours
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing
The Role
We are recruiting Driver’s Mates to join a busy 2-person delivery team. You will be supporting the driver to deliver customer orders within agreed time windows. Key responsibilities include:
Completing pre-calls to customers
Handling POD and basic customer service queries
Assisting with the delivery and safe handling of goodsPlease note: this role can be physically demanding, with some heavy lifting involved. Strong teamwork and a customer-focused approach are essential.
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off, 4 on / 2 off, 5 on / 2 off (7-day operation). Flexibility is required – this is not a Monday to Friday role.
