Job Description
* Manage product development projects, ensuring functional, cost, and quality requirements are met within budget and on time.
* Collaborate across functions, including Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing, to achieve project objectives.
* Foster an agile approach with regular team meetings and short feedback loops.
* Provide transparency on project status and risks, presenting regular summaries to senior management and thus allowing timely decision making.
* Lead the Product Engineering Process (PEP) for new product development, defining schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
* Moderate workshops for innovation, design to cost, design for manufacture and problem solving among other topics
* Drive cost reduction initiatives to boost profitability.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (ideally in Engineering), or commensurate experience
Experience: Project Management experience, ideally within product development.
Skills:
Proven project management competence (PMP or Prince2 certification desirable).
Demonstrable communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong appreciation of precision metal parts and assemblies
Agile mindset.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to summarise complex information for leadership.
Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
