Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Burton- Upon- Trent, Staffordshire
Pay Rate: £25k-£26k (depending on experience) + £6k sleep ins
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children Residential Support Worker to join its client’s team, based in Staffordshire.
What will your responsibilities be?
1. Work collaboratively within a therapeutically informed environment, supporting young people/adults by using guidance from psychological consultation, training, and supervision.
2. Implement low-level psychological interventions modelled by the psychologist, helping residents develop emotional regulation, coping strategies, and positive daily routines.
3. Contribute to psychologically informed care planning, observing and communicating residents’ needs and progress to ensure support is aligned with therapeutic recommendations.
4. Promote a safe, supportive, and empowering living environment, using relationship-based practice and understanding individuals’ perceptions of difficulty in line with the service’s therapeutic model.
5. Engage residents in meaningful activities and group work, encouraging participation, social development, and a sense of wellbeing within the residential setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
