JOB TITLE: Junior Studio Technician
BUSINESS FUNCTION/ SUB-FUNCTION: Marketing

Role Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Visual Media Manager, Junior Studio Technician is responsible for filming a portfolio of greenscreen based video content to engage and inspire our target audiences. Working closely with Studio Technician & Green Screen Specialist and video editors, this role responsibility is to set up, film and hand over greenscreen based content to a brief. In addition, the green screen video specialist will be working closely with Marketing Production in UK and India to ensure the content meets respective briefs.
Role And Responsibilities
* Lighting talent for green screen
* Recording RAW footage
* Voiceover audio recording
* Ability to direct subjects to deliver copy as per brief
* Maintaining greenscreen video content matching GEDU production standards
* Optimise and tailor requirements of assets to fit various channel requirements, selecting best format for final output.
* Continuously improve greenscreen video production and editing skills by keeping up with industry developments and tools.
* Collaborate closely with clients to ensure brand consistency and understanding of their brand identity
* Reviewing rushes, cataloguing, and creating rough cuts
* Handing over projects to the postproduction team in India
* Basic editing greenscreen videos
* Project back up
* Support Studio Technician and Greenscreen Specialist at videocast recording
* General upkeep of studio to maintain order and efficiency
Essential Skills & Experience
* Driven individual with demonstrable strong experience in greenscreen video production (lighting, filming, sound) from concept through to execution.
* A degree in Videography, Sound Production or similar discipline would be useful.
* Experience in video post-production – editing, grading, sound design and working with motion graphics.
* Demonstrable greenscreen video editing ability with a portfolio.
* Full and competent understanding video editing software. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition
* Experience of filming on Black Magic Studio Pro line, optional
* Immaculate attention to detail.
* Understanding of the Higher Education (HE) sector
* Ability to work under pressure and confident in delivering polished assets to tight deadlines, while prioritising multiple projects simultaneously
KEY RESULT AREA
* Efficiently produce green screen collateral, ensuring the setup, lighting, and audio meet GEDU's high production standards.
* Handle green screen content editing, cataloguing, and organization, ensuring smooth transitions to post-production teams.
* Enhance green screen production quality by staying up-to-date with the latest video production techniques and software advancements.
* Collaborate with the Senior Visual Media Manager, Marketing Production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
