Vehicle Technician required in Tonypandy.
1. Starting salary up to £33-36,000 per annum depending on abilities and experience.
2. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
3. Opportunity to work in a newly refurbished workshop with brand new ramps & lighting, etc.
Our client, an independent used car dealer group based across South Wales, is currently looking to recruit 2 Vehicle Technicians for their dealership in Tonypandy.
Reporting to the Workshop Controller and working as part of a large team, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include:
4. Carry out fault diagnosis, service and repair on a variety of cars.
5. Carry out PDIs in line with our client’s internal procedures and guidelines.
6. Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and documented.
7. Adhere to our client’s high standards of health and safety.
8. Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and thoroughly.
To be eligible, you will need to be a qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and ideally have at least a couple of years of practical experience post-qualification. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points and be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
