If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading firm’s Financial Services (FS) Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Edinburgh.
The Opportunity
This firm is experiencing significant growth and has ambitious plans to expand its FS Tax practice. The Edinburgh office has a long history of advising clients in the Wealth & Asset Management, Banking, and Insurance sectors, and they are now looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to help drive further success.
As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering technical tax compliance and reporting services, and contributing to business development. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role within a highly respected firm.
What You’ll Do
* Manage a portfolio of financial services clients, providing UK corporation tax compliance, partnership compliance, fund tax reporting, tax accounting, and tax audit support.
* Deliver high-quality technical tax advice while ensuring practical, business-driven solutions.
* Work closely with internal teams and clients across the globe, building and maintaining strong relationships.
* Oversee the end-to-end tax compliance and reporting process, from opportunity identification to service delivery.
* Lead and develop junior team members, providing coaching and mentorship to build a high-performing team.
* Proactively manage existing client relationships and contribute to winning new business.
What our client is looking For
Significant experience in corporate tax within practice,financial services or wider industry
Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax and/or UK fund tax matters.
Experience in a compliance and reporting environment, either within practice or industry.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric mindset.
Strong project management abilities and a results-driven approach.
The ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ACCA, or CTA (or equivalent experience).
