They're now looking for a Software Engineering Tech Lead to take ownership of a talented software engineering team and drive the development of high-performance APIs, microservices, and cloud-native systems. This is a hands-on leadership role - ideal for someone who enjoys setting technical direction while still being close to the code. What you'll be doing: Leading and mentoring a team of backend engineers Designing and delivering scalable APIs and microservices Driving best practice across code quality, testing, and architecture Working closely with product and design to ship features at pace Owning cloud infrastructure across GCP and Kubernetes What we're looking for: Strong backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript Proven track record leading engineering teams Solid cloud and containerisation experience (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker) Experience building reliable, scalable distributed systems Nice to have: Exposure to AI/ML or event-driven architectures Experience with Python or frontend technologies Salary Up to £90,000 plus equity and amazing annual leave.
