Job Title: HSE Officer Location: Flintshire Salary: £25per hour Job Type: Contract, site based Working Hours: Weekdays – 7:30am – 7pm, Saturday: 7:30am – 4pm Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and review H&S policies and procedures. Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with relevant H&S legislation and industry standards. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing reports and recommendations. Deliver H&S training to employees and management. Collaborate with different departments to promote a safe working environment. Keep up to date with new H&S regulations and industry best practices. Maintain records of inspections, audits, and safety compliance reports. Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors. Support the development of emergency response and evacuation procedures.Key Requirements: [Degree/Diploma] in Occupational H&S, Environmental Science, or a related field. [NEBOSH/IOSH/] certification (or equivalent) preferred. Proven experience in a H&S advisory role. Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple contractors. Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.Preferred Skills: Experience in large scale industrial construction. Ability to work with contractors and other key members of staff. First Aid certification is an advantage. Up to date CSCS card
