A well-established architecture and interiors practice is seeking an experienced Office & Studio Manager to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and efficiency to a creative environment. You'll be the central point of contact across the studio, supporting directors, managing operations and helping ensure projects, people and processes run smoothly.
The practice is open to candidates seeking a 4-day work week or reduced-hours arrangement, offering flexibility alongside a rewarding and highly valued role.
The Role
As the operational backbone of the studio, you'll oversee a broad range of responsibilities across office management, administration, team support and executive assistance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Studio & Office Management
* Acting as the first point of contact for new enquiries
* Managing the setup of new projects and maintaining project records
* Coordinating client appointment documentation and project administration
* Maintaining office systems, filing structures and internal processes
* Managing software subscriptions, licences and supplier relationships
* Liaising with external IT support providers and troubleshooting day-to-day issues
* Coordinating office maintenance, repairs and facilities management
* Managing office supplies, equipment and purchasing
* Supporting document production, printing and presentation materials
* Overseeing project archiving and record management
Team & Business Support
* Managing holiday records, absence tracking and office calendars
* Supporting recruitment activities, including job adverts and candidate coordination
* Assisting with onboarding and internal procedures
* Supporting monthly administration and reporting processes
* Coordinating staff events, social activities and studio initiatives
* Acting as a key point of contact across the wider team
* Helping maintain a positive and well-organised studio environment
Executive & PA Support
* Providing diary management and administrative support to the directors
* Scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments
* Assisting with correspondence and general executive administration
* Maintaining awareness of key projects, clients and studio priorities
* Supporting directors with day-to-day organisation and planning
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing a wide variety of tasks.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous experience in an Office Manager, Studio Manager, Executive Assistant or similar role
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner
* The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently
* A proactive approach to problem-solving
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems
* Experience within architecture, interiors, design, property or a creative environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
