Are you seeking a pivotal role where your commercial acumen can directly influence the success of large-scale infrastructure projects?

Our client, a leading infrastructure group, is actively seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, based in Daresbury West Yorkshire. This crucial position will see you providing essential management services to PFI Projects on behalf of their Boards, investors, and the wider group.

The Role As a Commercial Manager, you’ll:

Lead the financial and operational policies and procedures for projects, ensuring efficient conduct and assisting with the preparation of statutory reports and accounts.
Act as the project's primary representative on all matters affecting agreements, strategy, performance, and contract compliance under the PA and FMA.
Monitor and manage the performance of all third-party service providers to each operating company, ensuring the minimisation of deductions and the effective closing of compliance-related actions.
Drive commercial income generation by advising operating companies on plans, negotiating agreements with third parties, and managing relationships with key suppliers.
Contribute to the maximisation of shareholder returns for the projects and promote best practice across the business, enhancing service quality and customer care. Your Skills To be successful in the role of Commercial Manager, you’ll bring:

Proven experience in a similar commercial or project management role, ideally within the PFI or infrastructure sector.
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on income generation and financial optimisation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), capable of working independently and as part of a team.
The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment.
