Overview of the role:
We are currently looking to a hire an ambitious and driven Business Manager to join us at Napier, to support the CEO and senior leadership team in driving the company's strategic initiatives forward. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the company's operations, providing guidance and support to various departments, and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
This role is critical to driving the company's growth strategy and ensuring operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with the ExCo to develop and implement business plans, manage the day-to-day operations, and establish strong partnerships across Napier’s global business. This role offers a high level of exposure across the Napier business and is a rare opportunity to join an exciting FinTech scale up at a key time in our growth plans.
Your day to day: Business Manager
* Work closely with the CEO to manage day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives forward
* You will be a key conduit between our ExCo and various functional departments so will be a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
* Lead cross-functional projects and teams to ensure successful execution of company-wide initiatives
* Ensure that all departments are aligned with the company's vision, goals and KPI’s
* Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to drive efficiency and innovation
* You will be responsible for organising our operating rhythm, and will prepare, execute and follow up on our board meetings, off sites and all hands meetings (you will be adept at creating strong and engaging decks and presentations to deliver our messaging in a clear and structured format)
* Support with ad-hoc projects as needed
Do you have what it takes?
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
* 4 + years of experience within a related field
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, you will have the ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
* Capable of grasping and utilizing complex ideas and strategies

* Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
