Contract type: Permanent Contract
Hours: Part‑time, 24 hours per week – shifts Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Weekend & evening work essential. Pay: UK notional hourly rate £14.10 per hour
Location: B&Q, Merthyr Tydfil Role: Showroom Advisor – help customers realise their design ideas in kitchens and bathrooms.
Responsibilities
Sales‑focused customer service that includes:
* Asking questions and exploring possibilities to recommend suitable finance, products and installation options.
* Using software to produce inspirational designs that bring customer projects to life.
* Coordinating multiple projects and supporting customers both virtually and face‑to‑face.
* Guiding customers through the journey from inspirational ideas to final delivery.
Qualifications
Requirements include:
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Proficiency with technology and design software.
* Motivation by targets and confidence converting designs into sales.
* Team‑player with problem‑solving ability and keen eye for design.
* Flexibility to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
