About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Female PE Teacher to play a key role in inspiring a love of physical activity among young women within a supportive and collaborative department. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons across the curriculum for Years 7 to 11, with a particular focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for female students. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating PE lessons, aligned with the National Curriculum and tailored to the specific needs and abilities of female students in Years 7 to 11. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students enjoy physical activity and reach their full potential. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a sense of fair play within PE lessons. Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum, ensuring it reflects current best practices and promotes healthy lifestyles. Effectively prepare students for GCSE Physical Education (if applicable). Extracurricular Activities: Lead, organize, and coach a variety of extracurricular sports clubs and activities specific to girls' interests, promoting participation and fostering a love of sport. Contribute to school sporting events and competitions, ensuring fair and inclusive participation for female students. Pastoral Care: Build positive and supportive relationships with female students, promoting their well-being and encouraging a healthy approach to physical activity. Contribute to the wider pastoral care system within the school. Professional Development: Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in PE. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Female PE Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. A demonstrable passion for PE and a strong track record of engaging and motivating female students in physical activity. Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective PE lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Strong commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being among students. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
