Product Development Technologist
Based in Worksop with travel to St Albans

Do you offer:
1. BSc Food Science/Technology or related degree, Intermediate Food Hygiene, HNC Food Science/Technology, BTEC Food Science
2. 1+ years development experience.
3. Practical knowledge of baking and awareness of ingredient functionality, key bakery product types and techniques.
4. Able to manage their own projects independently
5. Innovative and Creative
6. Flexible to all aspects of development
7. Committed, Organized and tenacious
8. Time Management and Problem solving skills
9. Passionate about development
10. A real “Foodie”
11. Some previous supervisory or management skills would be valuable
What you'll be doing?
12. To deliver or support the delivery of new and existing product development for the related product area.
13. Support pilot plant trials and factory trials with operations, process and site technical teams at relevant sites. Liaise with all site functions to progress projects.
14. Support generation of document control and process relating to project.
15. Project team member representing development.
16. Monitor current trends and consumer food behaviors.
17. To work with the S&PG team to further consumer and sensory understanding of category
18. Understand the ingredients relating to specific products and work with suppliers.
19. Maintain contact with internal and external organization to ensure issues are assessed and acted upon accordingly.
20. Link to the technical support function at all sites of manufacture (internal and co-manufacture) to ensure efficient delivery of all programs.
