System Analyst / Mainframe Developer
Initial 6 Month Contract
Hybrid Monthly visit to Lytham
£500-£520pd (Outside IR35)
We are currently seeking a skilled System Analyst / Mainframe Developer with proven experience in IBM z-series mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PL1, SYNCSORT, DB2, IMS DB, MVS JCL, TSO, JobTrac, ENDEVOR, and File Manager.
Role Requirements:
* Experience interrogation of mainframe applications built in the above technologies to support data mapping (e.g., Source to Target data fields).
* Proven experience in developing codebases in the specified technologies to undertake data extracts based on agreed specifications.
* Experience in large-scale migration programmes is advantageous.
* Background in Life, Protection, or Insurance roles is beneficial.
* Recent experience of PL/I and Syncsort
