Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEND Teaching Assistant to join a main stream Primary School in Denton to work on a long-term basis starting in April

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND, helping them access learning and stay engaged in lessons.
* Implement EHCP targets and follow guidance from the class teacher and SENCo, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
* Support behaviour management using agreed strategies, promoting positive relationships and emotional regulation.
* Assist with classroom preparation, progress monitoring, and feedback to teaching staff on pupil development and wellbeing.
Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
* At least 6–12 months’ experience supporting children or young people with SEND in a UK school setting.
* Knowledge of common additional needs (e.g., ASC, ADHD, SEMH) and effective support strategies.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and strong communication skills.
