JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
To receive, unpack and log customer samples onto the laboratory system, ensuring they are ready for analysis.
Job Accountabilities And Main Duties
* Receive and unpack customer samples on arrival at site, ensuring paperwork is present and legible.
* When necessary, email customers in a professional manner to resolve queries promptly.
* Liaise with laboratory and customer service colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are achievable.
* Log samples onto the system accurately and efficiently.
* Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures provided.
* Work as a team, maintaining morale and actively offering help and assistance wherever possible.
Skills Required
* Basic level experience of using Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to communicate in a professional manner either by phone or email.
* Good eye for detail.
* Ability to prioritise workloads
