Job description
You will be key in ensuring business operations run smoothly. Vintage clothing is a fast paced environment. Despite having a small team, we work through thousands of items every month but quality is just as important to us as quantity. We need a calm and collected head who can remain focused on the task at hand, and is happy to adhere to achievable targets.
Job Requirements
Product Preparation: Daily preparation of clothing stock by steaming garments to ensure they are customer-ready (no previous steaming experience required, full training provided).
Stock Management: Organising incoming and outgoing inventory, putting stock away in the correct locations, and ensuring the workspace remains tidy and efficient.
Tagging & Labelling: Assigning SKUs and attaching tags to items so they can be tracked and listed correctly in our system.
Order Fulfilment: Picking and preparing customer orders with accuracy and care, ensuring all packages meet our quality standards before dispatch.
General Office Support: Assisting with a variety of daily tasks to keep operations running smoothly, adapting to the needs of a fast-moving vintage clothing business.
What You Need To Have
Having the right attitude and ambition to learn is key. If you can learn quickly and are able to concentrate on tasks over a long period of time then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for someone who is a team player, and does not shy away from asking for help. A passion for fashion, and in particular vintage, is a big bonus
Helpful, but not necessary:
* Fashion related study and/or interests
* Experience of Shopify
* Strong computer skills
* UK drivers licence
We are located in Epping CM16, which is the end of the Central Tube Line (2 miles to warehouse, driving is preferred).
