Solicitor/Head of Department - Private Client General Litigation
Overview
Location: Bromley (office options: Blackheath, Sidcup or Beckenham).
This is a senior solicitor role within the Private Client team, focusing on general litigation including contentious trusts and probate, employment, property & land disputes, landlord & tenant, debt recovery and contractual disputes.
Responsibilities
* Handle a varied caseload of general litigation matters for private clients from inception to resolution.
* Provide high-quality legal advice, draft documents, negotiate, and advocate in court when required.
* Collaborate with clients and other professionals to achieve favourable outcomes.
* Contribute to the Private Client team's growth and service delivery.

Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with 5+ years post-qualification experience in managing a variety of litigation cases (commercial, civil, and property disputes).
* Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, pre-action protocols, court processes, and ADR.
* Experience managing a diverse caseload of general litigation for private clients.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills; client-focused with strong relationship building; ability to work independently and in a team; strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
