I am currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Richmond upon Thames that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting pupils in their learning and development.
The Role:
* Full-time Teaching Assistant position
* Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on school needs
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Providing additional support to pupils who may need help with areas such as phonics, reading and early development
* Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
* A graduate or someone interested in pursuing a career in teaching
* Some knowledge of the primary curriculum (training and support can be provided)
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* A positive, patient and proactive attitude
* Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
