Can you make a difference in a young person’s life?
We are looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support a 16-year-old with Autism, CFS, and gender dysphoria.
As a PA, your duties will include acting as a mentor, supporting the young person in building confidence and promoting independence, helping to create and maintain social connections, engaging in promoting regular social and leisure activities, and establishing a routine.
An interest in antique/vintage books and the great works of literature would be a distinct advantage.
We are looking for a caring, open-minded, proactive, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience is desirable, along with a positive attitude and a good work ethic. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full, clean licence is required, and you must have access to your own vehicle.
This is a part-time position for 6.5 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21, plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
