Overview
The Royal Marsden Hospital is one of Europe’s largest Oncology centres and was the world’s first hospital dedicated to cancer research, diagnosis, treatment and education, with sites in Chelsea and Sutton and our new Cavendish Square site. We are inviting applications from enthusiastic individuals to join the Diagnostic Radiology team at the Sutton site.
The administration assistant/receptionist is an integral member of the Diagnostic Radiology team, under the supervision of the Imaging Support Manager. The post holder will coordinate all administrative aspects of Diagnostic Radiology including front line reception, scheduling of all modality bookings on the Radiology Information System (RIS) and clerical duties using other hospital IT systems. The Imaging department also works within a high-quality management system and has maintained alignment with Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) since February 2018. The department may require flexibility to work at our Chelsea, Sutton and Cavendish Square locations in central London.
Our partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research and other key organisations provides access to the newest clinical trials and imaging modalities; forefront techniques and protocols are continually evolved within Radiology across all sites.
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre. We employ over 4,500 staff across nursing, medical, science, radiography, pharmacy, occupational therapy, finance and administrative services, with sites in Chelsea, London and Sutton, Surrey, and a Medical Daycare Unit in Kingston Hospital. Flexible working requests from point of hire are welcome to support work–life balance.
