An exciting opportunity has arisen for the Technical Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing the business development strategy in alignment with the company's 3-year business plan, focusing on the growth of existing customer relationships and the penetration of profitable new markets and customers within targeted sectors.

Salary
* £40-60K, plus sales bonus
Key responsibilities
* Meet sales and growth targets in accordance with budget and forecast objectives.
* Deliver sales and gross profit aligned with agreed business targets, while maximizing customer opportunities.
* Stay abreast of market trends and identify new leads/ideas for sales and business development opportunities.
* Identify potential business partners and explore new markets.
* Foster growth in mature sales sectors and nurture emerging market sectors through a blend of sales, business development, and management efforts.
* Support or lead proposals to ensure integration of key win themes into winning proposals.
* Assist or lead post-tender presentations/negotiations as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers by understanding their needs, offering recommendations with integrity, and delivering superior solutions.
* Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
* Develop business relationships with stakeholders and identify growth opportunities to enhance the organization's market position.
* Represent the business to key customers, fostering strong partnerships.
* Manage long-term relationships between the business and customers, ensuring excellent customer service and monitoring service levels.
* Support market analysis efforts and communicate significant activities within the business.
* Provide up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace and competitors to inform business planning and communicate insights to key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with relevant departments to meet customer needs effectively.
What you need for the role.
* Proven track record in Sales conversion and on value-based selling.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and workload efficiently in a high-pressure environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines while delivering exceptional service.
* Strong communication skills encompassing, verbal, presentation, and written proposal abilities.
* Self-motivated and results driven individual.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally overseas (if required)
