This is an exciting opportunity for an expert to bring their technical knowledge and leadership abilities to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and safety across all catering-related systems.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\n * Lead a Skilled Team: Manage and guide a team of catering engineers, ensuring they follow best practices for equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.\n\n * Oversee System Efficiency: Ensure that all catering equipment and systems (e.g., ovens, refrigeration, dishwashers, HVAC) are regularly maintained, tested, and running efficiently.\n\n * Drive Energy Efficiency: Implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and lower operational costs while maintaining high-quality service standards.\n\n * Project Management: Oversee catering system installations, upgrades, and refurbishments, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.\n\n * Ensure Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and relevant environmental legislation related to catering equipment and systems.\n\n * Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Diagnose complex technical issues with catering equipment and systems, providing hands-on support when needed.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Experience: At least 5 years of experience in catering equipment management, facilities management, or a related field.\n\n * Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of catering systems and equipment, including commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration, ventilation, and HVAC systems.\n\n * Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing and developing a team of technical staff in a catering or facilities management environment.\n\n * Qualifications: HNC/HND in Catering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Catering-related qualifications preferred).\n\n * Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.\n\n * Health & Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and safe working practices in a catering environment.\n\nThis is your chance to step into a leadership role and make a real impact in a growing company.
