Dottie is currently partnering with a medical and health-care focused product consultancy in Bristol who are intentionally growing their engineering team.
This is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to a ground-up next-gen product which you'll be encouraged to influence from day one.
What you'll be doing:
* Own a meaningful portion of the project, focused on designing and implementing embedded subsystems
* Provide expertise to a long-term project that spans the full development lifecycle
* Shape the Linux architecture and technical direction of the product early on taking into consideration MCU/UI/connectivity components
* Lead small packages of work whilst supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team as needed
* Communicating effectively, clearly and meaningfully with other members of the team and external stakeholders
What you'll need:
* Strong experience within embedded Linux platforms
* Strong C/C++ and scripting experience
* Experience across safety-critical systems and/or medical devices
* Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ideally, an understanding or knowledge of IEC 62443
