Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper Leeds | £25,000–£28,000 | Full-time | Office-based (most days) Imagine joining a company at the exact moment it is preparing for major growth. You will work directly with the Finance Director, who needs someone confident, capable and hands-on. Someone who wants ownership, responsibility and the chance to help shape how finance operates from the ground up. This is not a role where you step into a rigid process. This is a role where you help build the process. The Role As the company’s first finance hire, you will take ownership of all day-to-day finance transactions and administration, including: Purchase ledger Sales ledger Banking and cash management Finance administration Supporting the Finance Director with month-end tasks Helping refine and improve processes as the business grows You will initially work with Sage 50, with plans to transition to MS Dimensions as the business scales. You will play a key part in that migration. This is a rare opportunity to join early, influence how things are done and grow with the role. What You Bring You enjoy being busy, involved and central to how the business runs. You have solid transactional finance experience and the confidence to work independently. You are comfortable speaking to people across the business and supporting other teams when needed. You want exposure, ownership and the chance to make a visible impact.
