As a PCSO, you’ll work closely with communities to promote safety and confidence. You will collaborate with police officers, special constables, and partner agencies, actively seeking information and intelligence on criminal activity and vulnerabilities in the communities you serve.
Joining Essex Police as a PCSO, you'll receive a starting salary of £26,106 with annual increments up to £31,293. Full-time PCSO contracts include a 37-hour workweek, with a 6 on 3 off shift pattern covering 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. A 12.5% shift allowance and weekend working enhancements are payable.

This post is open to British Citizens, members of the European Community or other states in the European Economic Area, Commonwealth citizens, and foreign nationals.
