Management are extremely people focused, that shows in the environment they’ve built and the credibility in the market. Right now, they need someone underpinning their values, leading from front and building the Office Manager role from the ground up.
You’ll manage a team of 4, 3 Administrators and 1 Finance Assistant, completing all training, 1 to 1 reviews, KPI management, you’ll support the MD with organisation and yes, you’ll need to challenge him now and again, so the right decisions are made, as well as full office management.
It’s a big role. It’s a challenge. It needs someone with a bit about them, someone who is confident in upward management, challenging the status quo and making decisions on behalf of the business.
Experience wise, you must have people management experience within a small business and have some knowledge on accounts, you don’t need to be an Accountant by any means but some knowledge of it, maybe you have used Sage for example is a must.
Hours are flex, you can start your day at 7:30am or 9am, choice is yours.
You’ll be looked after, you’ll be able to lead, grow and develop an administration function with full backing from Directors. It’s incredible.
