JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a proactive and business-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to support talent acquisition needs across assigned sites and regions. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to execute recruiting strategies that meet workforce demand, attract top talent, and enhance our employer brand. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as the local point of contact for hiring needs, while partnering with the Talent Acquisition Shared Services team for process execution and administrative support.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Full-Cycle Recruitment
o Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned business groups, from intake through offer
o Consult with hiring managers to define job requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and interview strategies
o Source candidates through job boards, networks, referrals, events, and direct outreach
* Stakeholder Partnership
o Build strong relationships with local and regional hiring managers and HRBPs
o Provide regular updates on pipeline progress, market trends, and recruiting challenges
o Conduct recruitment intake meetings and post-hire debriefs to support continuous improvement
* Candidate Experience
o Ensure an inclusive, professional, and responsive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
o Conduct screening interviews, assess qualifications, and guide candidates through the process
o Collaborate with shared services for timely interview scheduling, documentation, and background checks
* Local Market Expertise
o Maintain knowledge of local labor markets, compensation expectations, and sourcing trends
o Represent the company at career fairs, community events, and regional university partnerships as needed
* Reporting & Compliance
o Ensure all requisitions, candidate notes, and offer decisions are documented in the ATS
o Partner with HR and legal teams to ensure hiring practices are compliant with local labor regulations
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
* 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or high-tech environment
* Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
* Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize competing deadlines
* Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Workday, SuccessFactors)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable working across time zones in a global team environment

* Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of regional talent pools, competitive landscape, and sourcing channels
* Time Management: Able to manage a high-volume requisition load while meeting deadlines and service levels
* Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment with evolving workforce needs
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works effectively with Shared Services and HR colleagues across geographies to ensure seamless delivery
* Sourcing Proficiency: Skilled in advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn Talent Acquisition Specialist, referrals, and niche platforms
* Analytical Thinking: Uses data and metrics to track performance, improve outcomes, and advise stakeholders
* Diversity Focused: Committed to inclusive hiring practices and promoting diverse candidate pipelines
* Confidentiality: Handles sensitive candidate and business information with integrity and discretion
* Technology Fluency: Adept at using ATS, CRM tools, and virtual interviewing platforms
* Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering professional updates and recommendations to various audiences
Working Conditions
This position is based in a local or regional office environment and may require periodic travel to supported sites based on business demand. The role operates during standard business hours but may occasionally require flexibility to support interviews or meetings across time zones. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will engage regularly with both local stakeholders and remote shared services team members using digital collaboration platforms. The work involves extensive computer and phone usage in a professional, fast-paced environment.

* Frequent use of phone, video conferencing, and digital communication tools
* Ability to navigate office environments and attend in-person meetings or events
* Occasional travel to company sites, job fairs, or recruitment events (as required)
* Ability to lift and transport materials up to 15 pounds (e.g., recruitment materials, laptops, displays)
* Clear verbal and written communication in English (or applicable regional language) for candidate and stakeholder interactions
