Overview
As a Bus Driver with Arriva, you will play a vital role in transporting customers safely and reliably. This role includes training, development opportunities, and working within a diverse and inclusive team.
Responsibilities
* Full paid training where you'll receive your PCV licence - you'll go through our Arriva Training School and learn everything you need to know about being a Bus Driver. The training generally last approx. 4 weeks and will take place at our Ashington depot, before you then work with a mentor for a further few weeks.
* Ongoing CPC training.
* Develop and pursue great career opportunities, whether into management, support training, or as an expert driver.

* Must be over 18 years of age.
* Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
* No more than 6 points on your licence.
* Will need to undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
* Will need to pass an English comprehension test.
* Great people skills.
* Flexibility as your shifts will start as early as 4AM in the morning but will always work no later than 1AM depending on the time that you start.

Pay and Schedule
* Pay Rate: £13.25 - £15.85 per hour depending on location and service length.
* Weekdays - £13.25 first 12 months, £13.55 between 12-24 months' service and then £15.40 per hour.
* Weekends - £13.70 first 12 months, £14.00 between 12-24 months' service and then £15.85 per hour.
* Bank Holiday - £30 bonus paid per shift.
* A rotating pattern of 5 days in 7, published up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan shifts.
* Shifts from mornings (04:00), afternoons (12:00), and evenings (18:00) on a rotational basis.
* Overtime available on request/availability.
