We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of multiple projects of varying scale. Reporting directly to a Project Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop within a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment, supporting all stages of project execution from initiation through to delivery and close-out.
The ideal candidate will play a key supporting role across planning, finance tracking, and stakeholder engagement—both internally and externally. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams including Manufacturing/Production and Installations, as well as regular client and supplier interface.
Responsibilities
As part of the team delivering complex, major projects, the Junior Project Manager will:
* Assist in the end-to-end delivery of projects across various stages of the project lifecycle.
* Support project planning activities including timeline development, task allocation, and resource scheduling.
* Monitor and report on project finances including budget tracking and variance analysis.
* Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments including Sales, Design, Manufacturing, Production, Installation, and Quality Control.
* Engage with clients and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and timely updates on project status.
* Prepare documentation such as project plans, meeting minutes, progress reports, and risk registers.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of project delivery processes and documentation standards.
* Attend project and site meetings as required.
* Occasionally, travel to project sites across the UK with potential overnight stays.
Essential Qualifications
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
· Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
· UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
· Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar planning tools.
· Previous exposure to construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or installations project environments.
· Prince2 or APM Qualification.
· CSCS Certification.
