This role will be responsible for overseeing new business sales, solution development contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company. The Candidate; A business development background within Sea Freight. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency with CRM tools and advanced sales techniques. Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills. Full UK driving license with the flexibility to travel as needed. Duties and Responsibilities; Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives. Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, utilising proactive outreach methods. Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Implement effective sales techniques to optimise productivity and maximise conversion rates. Tailor customer proposals using cost calculation methods to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction. Build strong internal relationships to support the alignment and achievement of sales goals.
