Carrier Residential & Light Commercial (CRLE) now offers an exciting opportunity for a confident, self-starting engineer to join the technical team in Plymouth, Devon, UK. The main goal of this role is to provide technical support for Toshiba-branded heat pump products for our European customers, including the UK.
We welcome applications from both experienced engineers and postgraduate engineers with backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, or communication engineering, who reside within a commutable distance of Plymouth, Devon.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting customers with installation and commissioning of heat pumps, including assistance with control device (BMS) selection and commissioning.
* Providing pre- and post-sales technical support to our European and UK customers across all heat pump products (VRF, LC Residential, Air to Water).
* Preparing and delivering technical product training to EMEA customers.
* Liaising with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
* Practical knowledge or the ability to learn about air source heat pumps (graduate engineers with electrical or mechanical degrees are encouraged to apply).
* Ability to interpret current and new legislation and testing documents.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* Valid UK driving license.
