The Cleaner’s role is to work as part of a team to provide a cleaning service to the business which maintains high standards of cleanliness with respect to technical and cosmetic finishes in our production and office environments
The key outputs and deliverables of the role are as follows
1. Cleaning hard and soft finished floors to maintain the required quality standards
2. Using industrial cleaning equipment in applicable cleaning applications
3. Making effective use of equipment and cleaning materials at all times
Qualifications and expertise
All applicants are required to have good literacy and numeracy skills, necessary with regard to following work schedule instructions and data. In addition, cleaning product information and equipment operating instructions need to be understood and followed explicitly.
Although not essential, it is desirable if applicants have some previous knowledge of factory and office cleaning techniques, and any use of associated equipment would be an advantage. Full training will be given regardless of previous expertise.
Person specification
The successful applicants will have a good health record and be physically fit, as operation of the equipment and the nature of the job can be physically demanding. They will have a methodical approach to work, and be capable of working as part of a team as well as alone and unsupervised.
