Our client seek a Legal Bookkeeper/Legal Cashier, you will have experience of multiple bank reconciliations, and Xero software
This is a part-time (Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00) 20 hours a week - office based.
Objective of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bookkeeper to support our team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Day to day processing and reconciliation of client and Office accounts in line with Solicitor’s Accounts Rules regulations
· Administration of online banking system
· General bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations
· Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf
· Preparing and submitting VAT returns
· Conducting bookkeeping tasks ensuring accuracy and compliance
· Supporting the year-end accounts process
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
·Lising with clients and responding to queries
Requirements:
· Experience of working in a law firm
· Experience of Xero
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Ability to work independently and part of a small team
· Familiarity of LEAP software desirable
