Project Management Accountant | Lambeth, London - in office 5 days a week | £60,000 | Architecture & Design
My client is an award-winning practice within the architecture and design space. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, they are responsible for designing and executing buildings on key sites in London and internationally. This role is aimed at someone fully ACA qualified and currently in practice, who is looking to make their first move into industry.

Key responsibilities:
· Creating and implementing monthly reports (using Xero & Excel) and forecasts for Budgets, P&L accounts, balance sheets and cashflows
· Running monthly consolidations & issuing intercompany statements
· Preparing reports required by the partners or stakeholders and any other ad hoc reports as required
· Project sector analysis, completion costs update, and stage completion analysis for deferred income calculations
· Project revenue, cost, and profit reporting
· Preparation of annual budgets and recurrent forecasting / variance analysis
· Providing financial analysis to inform strategic planning
· Leading the preparation for the annual audit of the financial statements including preparing year end lead schedules, providing audit support and liaising with Auditors
· Monitoring the Fixed Asset Register, Accruals, Prepayments, and other schedules
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Practice Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2+ years post qualified experience
· Experience working within the professional services sector
· Previous experience implementing new processes or internal controls desirable
· Experience of project accounting and budgeting essential
Software skills:
· Xero experience essential
· Exceptional MS Excel skills
· MS Powerpoint desirable
