A leading Scottish legal firm in Edinburgh is looking for a new AML & Client Onboarding Administrator to join their vital team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team of 6, including a Deputy MLRO, AML Manager, and 3 AML Analysts, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the firm's compliance and smooth client onboarding processes.
What you'll be doing:
This role is all about data accuracy, attention to detail, and maintaining records to keep the firm compliant. Your main tasks will include:

Maintaining accurate client data in our systems.

Setting up new client accounts with precision.
*
Carrying out searches on public registers to verify client identities and conduct conflict checks.
*
Coordinating with other departments to integrate client data.
*
Keeping comprehensive records of all client data entries and system setups.
*
Ensuring all data entries meet firm policies and regulatory requirements.
*
Assisting with preparing essential documentation and reports.
Who we're looking for:
We're open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including school leavers!
Ideally, you'll have:

A minimum of a part-time job (e.g., while at school or studying) where you gained some customer experience.
*
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
*
Good organisational skills and a proactive approach.
*
A bonus if you have any office-based experience – even if it's from school projects, it shows you understand working with systems.
