Our client is a well-established Distribution company are currently recruiting a Senior Management Accountant to join them on-site on a full time basis. They are known for their innovative and high-quality products, and pride themselves on their impressive service.
This role requires a site-based presence.
Description
Management Accountant duties include;
* Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
* Oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles.
* Coordinate, analyse and report financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
* Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
* Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
* Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
* Preparation of year end accounts, audit management and external financial reporting processes
* Review, refine, and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
* Standard costs and sales margin analysis.
* Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
* Oversee cash flow forecasting and cost analysis
Profile
The successful Management Accountant should have:
* Formally Qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
* Strong management accounting and business partnering experience, with expertise in financial controls, management reporting and cost analysis
* A commercial mindset, able and willing to offer insight on both opportunities and potential risks.
* The ability to clearly communicate technically complex financial issues.
* Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
* Experience of working on Sage X3 or other similar ERP systems.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* A highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
