Biocair is seeking a Driver to play a vital role in delivering time critical and temperature sensitive consignments with high levels of customer care. This is a busy, fast-paced role focused on safety, accuracy and service excellence, supporting medicines and samples in a controlled environment.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring all the correct documentation is accurately completed and processed with the shipment.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse; ensuring materials are stored in designated areas and fridges, freezers and warm rooms are checked and records maintained.
* Reporting shortfalls of packaging stock to ensure stock levels are maintained and logs remain accurate.
* Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle maintenance checks and performing simple maintenance tasks as required; ensuring vehicle cleanliness.
* Building positive working relationships with other drivers, departments and management to deliver excellent communication and customer service and proactively implementing process improvements.

Key competencies
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Must hold a current, full Category B driving licence (maximum of 3 points).
* Previous commercial van driving experience (Mercedes Sprinter MWB/LWB, Mercedes Vito, Maxus eDeliver9 or similar).
* Confident driving a manual transmission.
* Experience of working under time pressure and maintaining accurate documentation.
* Experience in cold chain, time sensitive multimodal freight forwarding, or pharmaceutical logistics is highly desirable.
* Resilience and the ability to build strong working relationships as a true team player.

Please note this is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 04:00 and 18:00 and is 100% onsite at our London Heathrow office.
