Position: Onshore Senior Surveyor

Type: Permanent / Full Time (Rotational 24/7 Shift Pattern)
Duties and responsibilities
* Act as Shift Lead and primary escalation point for survey operations
* Conduct pre-shift briefings and coordinate daily operational priorities
* Monitor vessel survey performance and reallocate resources as required
* Oversee calibration, verification and performance of survey sensors and positioning systems (including USBL and geodetic setup)
* Monitor real-time data acquisition and carry out QA/QC checks
* Troubleshoot technical and equipment integration issues
* Review logs, reports and documentation, ensuring client and project compliance
* Liaise with technical teams including data processing and GIS to support integrated project delivery
* Support project documentation and report sign-off
Qualifications and requirements
* Minimum 5 years' offshore survey experience
* Degree in Hydrographic Surveying, Geodetic Surveying or similar discipline
* Strong experience in survey sensor calibration and subsea positioning systems
* Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
* Strong communication and leadership capability
* Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights) within a 24/7 operation
* Must be based within commutable distance of Southampton
