Are you hardworking, reliable, and ready for a physically demanding role? We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative for our client, offering a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.
Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse and yard. This is a hands-on role involving loading, unloading, and general yard duties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative:
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Working in the yard and warehouse environment
* Moving stock and materials around site
* Carrying out general warehouse and yard duties
* Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times
* Supporting the wider team with daily operational tasks
* Undertaking heavy lifting and physical work throughout the shift
Requirements of a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative:
* Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred but not essential
* Physically fit and comfortable with hard graft and manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Good attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Own transport beneficial due to location of site
