Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Pricing Manager to lead our Pricing team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic impact across all aspects of pricing. This position sits within the senior management team, and the successful candidate will report to the Pricing & Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of existing customer pricing management and new business pricing strategy including administration of supplier cost prices and rebate income analysis. You will work closely with our internal sales community at all levels, our internal purchasing team and external suppliers.


Responsibilities

* Pricing Team Management: Provide support and guidance to all individuals within the Pricing team; identify knowledge gaps and provide appropriate training, support, and development; ensure all work released from the department is completed to the highest standard and in line with the companys commercial strategy; ensure compliance with Commercials HR, Recruitment and Payroll processes in regard to team management.
* Existing Business Price Reviews: Work with Pricing Analysts to ensure periodic customer price reviews are carried out correctly and delivered on time to the sales community; continually identify areas for margin and sales revenue improvements through process or margin enhancements.
* New Business: Collaborate with Pricing Analysts to ensure all new business proposals are delivered to the sales community effectively, in line with the companys growth strategy and on time; identify and implement initiatives to improve win rates and processes.
* Ad Hoc Pricing: Manage pricing for larger clients as required, for both new and existing business perspectives.
* Supplier Pricing Management: Develop and maintain supplier relationships; focus on achieving the best price relationships and efficiently manage supplier price increases to protect margin.
* Pricing Strategy Development: Develop a strategic plan for the pricing department with the senior management team to keep costs down while increasing margin.


About You

* Minimum of five years of experience in pricing management, with at least two years of people management experience.
* Microsoft Office proficient; advanced Microsoft Excel required.
* Strong business and commercial acumen; good leadership and communication skills; enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
* Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise across the team; full driving license; flexibility to travel nationally may be required.
