This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving and supportive accounts team in our Melton Office, predominantly dealing with Micro and Small company accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will be:
* ACA or ACCA Qualified, or equivalent experience
* Several years’ experience working in practice
* Self-motivated, team player with a positive, professional attitude
* Experienced in CCH Central including Accounts Production, Tax & Fixed Asset register modules
* Competent in using Microsoft Office (predominantly excel, word, outlook) and bookkeeping software Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
* Comfortable with one-to-one client meetings
* Experience supervising junior staff
* Experience of Charity Accounts
Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of statutory financial statements over a diverse client base, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across various industry sectors
* Prepare Corporation Tax Returns
* Prepare Self-Assessment Tax Returns
* Client facing role - assist with client queries and draft account meetings
* Complete work accurately and in a timely and cost-effective manner, working to agreed deadlines
* Proactive in managing your own workload and aware of balancing priorities
* Generate fees x 2.5 of your Salary
* Training and development to keep up to date with relevant issues in accountancy
* Supervise and develop junior team-members
