St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT (Ref: SBMAT318) Fixed Term to 31/08/2026 Grade 3 (SCP 4-6) Actual Salary £14,637 - £15,104 25 Hours / 44.85 weeks paid REQUIRED TO START: ASAP Location: St Benedict Biscop CE Primary School, WV5 9DZ The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with experience of working across the primary age range who is keen to join our fantastic, thriving school. St. Benedict Biscop was inspected in March 2023, securing an overall Good judgement with Outstanding Early Years, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development and Leadership and Management. We are now looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Team to continue our successful journey. The school is part of St. Bartholomew’s Multi-Academy Trust. What are we looking for: This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly and supportive team. We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within our school. Experience of working across the school age range would be an advantage. Our support staff make a significant contribution to our children’s journey at our school. As a member of our team you will support our whole school ethos to provide the best opportunities for the children in our care. We are looking for a child centred, motivated and enthusiastic individual who will support the Christian Ethos of our school. Working alongside the class teachers to support children to achieve their full potential. Working as part of a team but also independently to meet the needs of individual children. We can offer you the opportunity to work with wonderful, happy children and a supportive school with relevant training. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. You will have: Good interpersonal skills Positive and hard working Be punctual, reliable and have a flexible working approach Be able to work as part of a team Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher within lessons. Supervising children at playtime and for social activities. Delivering interventions for individual and groups of children Under the direction of the class teacher supporting specific lessons. You will enjoy working in a team, have a caring approach and a positive attitude. You will be confident to follow school procedures and demonstrate a commitment to keeping children safe.
