Role - CDM Site Supervisor/Site Manager (Contract)
Location - South Wales
Qualifications
* Hold relevant qualifications and certifications for construction management, engineering or related field.
* Degree on Electrical or Mechanical Engineering desirable
* SMSTS certified with experience in the role in similar project
* TWC, CSCS Black or White Card, and First Aid
* Expected experience:
* >6y on Construction as Site Manager or >10y as Supervisor
* Domain of CDM 2015 Regulations as Principal Contractor
* Full UK Driving license
* IT tools knowledge (MS Office package)
* Previous experience with National Grid desirable
Duties
* Interpretation of drawing and technical documentation.
* Knowledge in commissioning activities desirable
* Problems-solving, communicating and organisational skills
* Responsibility on the executed Works, which must be according to the delivered design
* Ensure the use of the last and approved revision of documents in coordination with the supervisors.
* Health and Safety driven, ensuring compliance and validation of all procedures, risks assessments and method statements
* Understanding and implementation of Project Main Programme
* Internal reporting and construction progress monitoring
* Co-ordination and supervision of Project Team and Sub-Contractors
* Validation of monthly progress certifications
* Communication with Client Representatives
* Co-ordination of local organisation and third-parties
* Capable of research local suppliers (i.e materials, auxiliary equipment, cranes, qualifications and trainings…)
