Job Title: Humanities Teacher
5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Humanities Teacher to join our fantastic team at Crookhey Hall, Cockerham.
As a Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Under the reasonable direction of the Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, carry out the professional duties of a schoolteacher as set out in the current School policies. Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of the teaching team and as detailed in the specific duties and core standards below.

Crookhey Hall School is a Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School which caters for boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years of age. Crookhey Hall School has a 15-acre setting in countryside south of Cockerham, near Lancaster. Due to the location, it would be beneficial for candidates to have a driving licence.
