*Post Title: *Powder PainterWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Painter to work on rotational Dayshift & BackshiftDayshift7:00am – 3.15pm Monday to FridayRate £13.00/HROvertime £18.15/HRBackshift3.00pm – 1.15am Monday to ThursdayRate £16.14/HROvertime £18.15/HRIn addition we are offering* Bonus System.* Life insurance.* Good holiday entitlement.* Overtime availability*Key responsibilities and accountabilities** Selection of correct paint for job.* Selection of correct oven temperatures and track speeds.* Setting up equipment.* Control of pre-treatment to clean and treat parts.* Ensuring correct preparation of parts before painting and how they are placed on line.* Understanding powder paint properties.* Understanding coating defects, their causes and how to rectify.* Carrying out quality checks on coating finish, including DFT & Gloss readings.* Carrying out stock checks of paints and recording on system.* Recording details of painted parts and results of quality checks.* Maintaining equipment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned after use.* To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.*About you** Skilled powder painter with ITW Gema system experience required.* Good knowledge of powder paint process.* Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.Job Type: Full-timePay: £13.00-£18.15 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:* Prestwick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:* Powder Painting: 1 year (required)Work Location: In person
